Haunted by fears that he is unlike the rest of his extended ape family, Tarzan’s world is further thrown into confusion with the arrival of Professor Porter and his daughter Jane. Does he belong in the human world or with the only family he has ever known?
With a voice cast that includes Glenn Close, Minnie Driver, Rosie O’Donnell, Nigel Hawthorne and Brian Blessed and five songs written and performed by Grammy Award® winner Phil Collins, Disney have captured the spirit of the original story with their unique jungle humour.
This, the 37th Disney animated feature, is bound to be a big hit, and a full range of Tarzan merchandise, including books, stickers, games, soft toys, pencil sets and back packs, is available at the Children’s Book Centre.

Video bugs

“It’s a bug eat bug world out there!” This is The Magnificent Seven at insect level. Flic is sent to the city to get help from tough bugs to protect the colony from the marauding grasshoppers.
By a slight miscalculation he recruits, not savage insect warriors, but performing circus bugs. In the end Flic’s inventiveness and natural optimism both rescues the colony and redeems him in the eyes of Princess Atta, whom he secretly loves.
This glorious film uses the kind of cutting edge computerised animation techniques that looked so great in Toy Story and Antz to tell an exciting story of courage and the triumph of the ant spirit. Available in six different box designs, so you can choose your favourite character.
